10 Boko Haram Members Killed In Clashes, Air Strike
10 suspected members of Boko Haram were killed in a clash in north
eastern Nigeria after troops launched an air strike, the military said

area of Borno state, according to the military.
ASUU Slams FG, Calls It Liar Over Release Of Intervention Funds
The Academic Staff Union of Universities, ASUU, Wednesday, described
as false, claim by the Federal Government that N130 billion had been
released to universities. According to the union, the Federal Government was yet to release any
kobo of the said amount, but had only sent a letter to the governing

Mike Ozekhome Regains His Freedom
It has been learn that human rights lawyer, Chief Mike Ozekhome (SAN) has been freed by his captors. As at the time of compiling this report, there was no official
confirmation if the N100 million ransom demanded by his abductors was
paid to secure his release. It would be recalled that Ozekhome, alongside his driver were
kidnapped by unknown gunmen on Friday, August 23, along the Benin-Auchi
road in Edo State.
