Military Recaptures More Towns From Boko Haram

In continuation with the push to capture Sambisa forest, after the capture of Gwoza and Alagarno forest, troops of the 3 and 7 Divisions of the Nigerian Army supported by the Nigerian Air Force, on Friday recaptured Bita, Izge, Yamteke and Uba towns in Askira Uba and Damboa Local Government Areas of Borno State.

One Feared Dead As Crisis Rocks Oshodi



One person has been reported dead after crisis erupted in Oshodi area of Lagos, Thursday evening.
It was gathered that problem ensued between some rival political thugs in the area over issues bothering on the forthcoming governorship election. DAILY POST correspondent reports that the whole area is boiling as residents and makerters are running for their dear lives. The identity of the victim could not be ascertained at the moment. This incident is coming barely one week after a woman was killed in similar crsis that broke up in the area.

Police Uncover MASSOB Bomb Factory In Imo



The Imo State Police Command on Thursday said it had uncovered a bomb factory at Umuokirika village in Aboh-Mbaise Local Government Area of the state. The Police Public Relations Officer, Andrew Enwerem, said this in a meeting with journalists in Owerri, the state capital.
