Gareth Bale could unleash the Chain Reaction Transfer mechanism

We are heading into that stage of the transfer window, where just one transfer is needed to let the market crash like anything. It can go berserk, bizarre and brilliant. The cold war in terms of transfer market has already been developing in Europe. It just needs a spark somewhere to blow up everything. And who else can create this brouhaha of massive chain-reaction than the mightiest Real Madrid? Got the hint, here it follows. If Madrid sign Gareth Bale from Tottenham Hotspur for a world record transfer fee, it will obviously free up the space for either of Mesut Ozil or Angel di Maria, or both of them to ply trade elsewhere. Arsene Wenger throughout the summer has only monitored and targeted, it’s time he splash some cash as well and might make a move for the Argentine in the next few days. Likewise, United need a play-maker and could make a move for the German international, which in turn would pave the way for Nani to look for a move elsewhere. Also, United might be tempted to let Wayne Rooney go to Chelsea for a handsome amount. The Blues manager Jose Mourinho with avalanche of midfielders at disposal can certainly dispense with the services of their best player of last season, Juan Mata, whose future has come under intense scrutiny. Also, as per reports, Madrid could be looking to offload Benzema as well, and though we don’t exactly know where he would land up to, but his departure would encourage the Los Blancos to lodge a late bid for Liverpool’s Luis Suarez. What about Tottenham? With silly £100 million round-about dosh burning hole in the pocket, Levy will now lick every available cherry in the market, and if the reports are to be believed, Erik Lamela of Roma could cross the borders of Italy to taste the unpredictable weather of London.
