TMZ reports that Rihanna has reportedly cancelled her Grammys performance. The singer pulled out of the ceremony, after doctors told her to rest. The Barbedian singer is said to be suffering from bronchitis and is taking medication for the problem. A doctor on site at Los Angeles’ Staples Centre, where the Grammys are being held, has allegedly told her not to perform in case she permanently damages her vocal cords.
TMZ reports a representative for the singer has confirmed Rihanna has been on antibiotics for the last three days and has been put under vocal rest for 48 hours.
Other performers still to come at the Grammys include Lady Gaga’s tribute to David Bowie, and James Bay collaborating with Tori Kelly.
