Premier League to offer cash reward for impressive Europa performances

Premier League have decided to offer English clubs a cash incentive to do well in the Europa League from next season. After a series of disappointing displays in Europe from the English clubs, there have been serious concerns over the division’s UEFA coefficient. England could lose their fourth Champions League spot in Europe if they continue to disappoint in the Champions League as well as the Europa League and therefore, the Premier League have decided to offer more incentives to clubs playing in Europa so that they take the competition seriously.
Several English giants Liverpool, Chelsea and Manchester United could play in the Europa League next season and Premier League boss Richard Scudamore will be hoping that there will be an improvement in performances from the English teams.

Cash rewards of up to £10 million could be offered for good performances in the Europa League.

England could lose their fourth Champions League spot to Italy due to the decreasing UEFA coefficients. Impressive performances in the Champions League and the Europa League could improve England’s rankings.

The last time an English club won the Europa League was in 2013 when Chelsea lifted the trophy after their group-stage elimination from the Champions League.
