FG removes subsidy, petrol to now sell for N145 per litre

According to Vanguard, the Nigerian Government have removed subsidy from sale of Premium Motor Spirit, PMS, also known as petrol with immediate effect. NNPC sources this afternoon said marketers are now free to bring in cargoes and sell, subject to meeting standard quality control.

Dangote donates 2 Billion Naira, partner to provide feeding in Ramadan

Gov. Kashim Shettima of Borno state on Monday received Alhaji Aliko Dangote who was in the state to personally visit IDP camps and commiserate them over their plight as a result of Boko Haram insurgency. He said that the Dangote Foundation will collaborate with the Borno state Government to determine the immediate needs of the IDPs to enable the Foundation adequately response to it and, equally promised to contact other well-meaning people to assist the IDPs.

Premier League to offer cash reward for impressive Europa performances

Premier League have decided to offer English clubs a cash incentive to do well in the Europa League from next season. After a series of disappointing displays in Europe from the English clubs, there have been serious concerns over the division’s UEFA coefficient. England could lose their fourth Champions League spot in Europe if they continue to disappoint in the Champions League as well as the Europa League and therefore, the Premier League have decided to offer more incentives to clubs playing in Europa so that they take the competition seriously.
