NYSC announces postponement of Batch A Stream II programme

The management of the National Youth Service Corps, NYSC, has announced the indefinite postponement of the 2016 Batch ‘A’ Stream II orientation programme, which was earlier billed to start on Saturday.

The management of the scheme, in a statement issued on Thursday, said a new date would be made public in due time.

APC threatens to expel Senator Shehu Sani for supporting NLC

The Publicity Secretary of APC in Kaduna state, Salisu Wusono, says his party is considering disciplinary actions against Senator Shehu Sani that may lead to his expulsion. Counsel to Chief James Onanefe Ibori, Thursday May 19, 2016 told the Southwark Court, Londonm that there may be no fair trial in the confiscation hearing of James Ibori that is due to start in June at a Southwark Crown Court in London.
