RCCG To Build 3-Km-long Auditorium Before August 2014

The General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, RCCG, on Saturday said the church would build a three-kilometre long auditorium. Adeboye said this at the Holy Ghost Service which was one of the programmes lined up for the 61st Annual Convention of the church that ends today.
He said that the new auditorium which would be built at the mission’s camp ground at km 46, Lagos-Ibadan expressway would also be as wide as its three kilometres length. This will make the auditorium an enormous 9km square auditorium, and one of the top ten churches in the world.
Adeboye said that the existing auditorium which was built in year 2000 with a capacity to sit one million people at once could no longer accommodate millions of people who attend services at the camp ground.
According to him, the project will start soonest and will be completed before the 62nd Convention in August 2014.
He therefore solicited for donations from members of the church toward making the project a reality.
Testifying to God’s goodness at the convention, Adeboye said that a total of 72 babies were born at the camp between Monday and Friday.
