How Leaving The Light On All Night Messes With Sleep

Sleeping with the light on could lead to worse Zzs, a small new study suggests.
Reuters first reported on the study, published in the journal Sleep Medicine, which showed that sleeping with the lights on is linked with waking up more often in the middle of the night and having more shallow sleep. Plus, it seems to affect brain oscillations that are linked with sleep depth.

ASUU: ''Call Off Strike In Memory Of Iyayi'' - Saraki

Former Kwara state governor, Bukola Saraki, on Wednesday urged the leaders and members of the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) to end the lingering 4-months strike. Mr. Saraki, who was reacting to the death ASUU former president, Dr. Festus Iyayi, in a road accident, said the union should consider calling off the strike in his memory.

JAMB 2014 - No 2nd Choice Tertiary Institution For Candidates

JAMB 2014 registration has begun and one of the changes made to the registration template is the removal of second choice institutions and addition of an Innovative Enterprise Institution (IEI) making the the choices four in number namely:
1. Degree Awarding Institutions
2. ND Awarding Institutions
3. NCE Awarding Institutions
4. Innovative Enterprise Institutions (IEI)

This is big change and I wonder why JAMB kept it a secret instead of announcing it before the commencement of registration.

JAMB Sets 2015 Date For General Computer-based Exam

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has given 2015 as the deadline for phasing out the paper and pencil method of examination in the country. The Board advised prospective university candidates to make adequate use of the Information and Communication Technology (ICT) facilities that abound in the country ahead of the deadline.
