Nigerian Fan Dies Watching Nigerian Eaglets in Dubai

An unidentified Nigerian football fan from Dubai has died after watching the Golden Eaglets hold Sweden to a thrilling 3-3 draw at the Kalifa Bin Zayed Stadium in Al-Ain City. According to the information provided by eye witness, the man died after suffering cardiac followed by the game against Sweden. This happened in the bus conveying the Nigerian fans contingent back to Dubai.
According to the reports, after the heart attack the deceased was rushed to Dubai hospital for treatment, where he had been until he passed on in the early morning of yesterday. The fan's close friend said that his remains were still in the morgue of the hospital. Attempts of the journalists to reach the hospital proved unsuccessful as at press time. One source said last night that the deceased was one of the vocal supporters of the Golden Eaglets since they started their fourth chase for the FIFA U-17 World Cup here on October 19 against Mexico. Eaglets play Iran tomorrow in a round of 16 match at the Al Ain City, the same stadium, where the deceased was last spotted supporting the three-time world champions.
