4Km-Road Named After Oritsejafor In Warri

A four-kilometre-road in Warri South Local Government has been named after the National President of Christian Association of Nigeria, CAN, Pastor Ayodele Joseph Oritsejafor, by authorities of the council who described him as a great ambassador of Warri.
The four-kilometre-road, which runs from the Police Barracks Junction axis of the popular Warri-Sapele Road terminates at the Mabiaku road in Warri GRA. In a brief remark before unveiling two sign-posts of the road, Transition Committee Chairman of Warri South Local Government, Dr. Augustine Uroye, noted that the formal unveiling in honour of the CAN President was the first in the history of the local government. According to him, Pastor Oritsejafor has contributed immensely to the development and positive projection of Warri both within and outside the country. The elated CAN president, who was flanked by his wife, Pastor Helen Oritsejafor, expressed his excitement, stressing that a man could not be said to have achieved anything until his people honoured him. The former Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria President noted that even Jesus Christ could not do many miracles in his own town because the Jews had no value for him. He therefore prayed for continuous peace in Warri, adding that, with the honour bestowed on him, every good thing that left Warri would return.
