Falcao Will Not Leave Monaco in January- Club Vice-President
Monaco vice-president, Vadim Vasilyev, has hit out at
suggestions that Radamel Falcao could leave the club for Real Madrid in
January, saying such a move would make “no sense”. In an interview with Madrid-based sports daily Marca, Vasilyev said
the principality club had no intention of allowing the Colombian to
leave just six months after signing him for a reported 60 million euros
($81.2m, £50.7m) from Atletico Madrid.

ASUU STRIKE: Nigerian Universities To Open Next Week With Or Without ASUU
This was part of the resolutions of the meeting between the ASUU
leadership, Vice President Namadi Sambo and the Supervising Minister of
Education on Tuesday as was first reported by this medium.
An official of the Vice President’s office who pleaded
anonymity said that all hands are now on deck to ensure that the
universities resume next week.

ASUU STRIKE: NANS Gives Union 7-Days Ultimatum To Call Off Strike
Frustrated by over four months of strike that has kept their
future in the balance leadership of the National Association of Nigerian
Students, NANS zone ‘B’ has given the members of the Academic Staff
Union ofUniversities (ASUU) seven days to call off and return to the
class room. The Union warned that at the expiration of the seven days ultimatum
they would be left with no other option than to confront the striking
lecturers.
